Commercial Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Commercial Specialist to join our team in Istanbul. In this role, you will manage end-to-end international commercial operations, including foreign procurement, international logistics, and customs clearance related affairs. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or related regulated industries and be fully fluent in both English and Turkish.

Key Responsibilities

·        Foreign Procurement: Handle end-to-end international purchasing processes, supplier negotiations, price inquiries, and order management.

·        Logistics & Customs Management: Coordinate international freight (air, sea, road), track shipments, and manage customs clearance processes in compliance with local and international regulations.

·        Commercial Correspondence: Draft, review, and maintain formal business correspondence, RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and shipping documents (Invoices, Packing Lists, COAs, BLs, etc.).

·        Supplier & Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.

·        Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all import/export documentation meets regulatory standards (especially for pharmaceutical or chemical products).

Requirements & Qualifications

·        Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in international trade, foreign procurement, logistics, and customs operations (preferably within thePharmaceutical, Chemical, or Raw Materials sectors).

·        Language Skills: Native/Fluent in Turkish andFull Professional Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

·        Trade Expertise: Solid understanding of Incoterms 2020, international payment terms (L/C, T/T, etc.), and customs procedures.

·        Communication: Exceptional formal business writing skills in both English and Turkish.

·        Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP software.

·        Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
