Glass R&D Specialist

We are now looking for a Glass R&D Specialist who has the following qualifications to work in our Glass R&D Department in our factory operating in Sakarya.

The ideal candidate should have…

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably master’s degree from Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials and Metallurgy Engineering departments of the universities
• Minimum 3 years experienced in R&D processes in manufacturing companies in the chemical/glass/ceramic/coating industry
• Excellent command of English
• Proficient in using MS Office applications
• Improved problem-solving ability and result oriented
• Team-oriented, strong time management and communication skills
• Ability to think analytically and numerical analysis ability
• Willing to researches, open-minded, innovative
• Pro-active; self-driven for creating new projects and/or improving existing conditions and processes
• Preferably having B type driving license and active driver
• Resident or able to reside in Sakarya

This position will be carrying out…

• To perform necessary improvement studies by conducting the laboratory tests,
• To conduct alternative raw material studies,
• To prepare product and project documentation,
• To follow the literature and to make related reporting,
• To investigate the technology trends and new products in the market in terms of cost, performance and intellectual properties (patent etc.),
• To manage further development of new version products according to product and other component’s standards.
