Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our R&D, Systems and Technology team. The role combines systems engineering, quality management and R&D project activities.

Qualifications

•      Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering.
•      Master’s degree is preferred or currently in progress.
•      Minimum 2 years of experience in systems engineering, design, integration, verification or R&D projects.
•      Knowledge of requirements management, traceability, verification and validation processes.
•       Familiarity with aerospace quality management systems (AS9100 / ISO 9001) and methods such as FMEA, FTA and 8D.
•      Knowledge of safety and RMST (Reliability, Maintainability, Safety, Testability) analyses is a plus.
•      Experience in preparing or executing TÜBİTAK or EU-funded R&D projects is a plus.
•      Ability to prepare and interpret technical documentation, reports and proposals.At least Intermediate level of English, preferably Upper Intermediate.
•      At least Intermediate level of English, preferably Upper Intermediate.
•      Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM and MATLAB/Simulink is preferred.
•      Living in Eskişehir or willing to live in Eskişehir.

Job Description

• Define, analyze and manage system requirements and their traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Take part in design verification, testing and validation activities.
• Carry out safety and RMST (Reliability, Maintainability, Safety, Testability) analyses such as FMECA, FTA and reliability predictions.
• Provide engineering inputs to maintenance activities, including maintainability requirements, maintenance task analysis and maintenance documentation.
• Manage requirements, engineering data and technical documentation in Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Support technical coordination across design, analysis, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of AS9100-compliant engineering processes.
• Take part in internal, customer and certification audits and follow up corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all activities comply with applicable standards, quality requirements and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Take part in preparing proposals, feasibility studies and technical evaluations for national and international funding programs (TÜBİTAK, Horizon Europe, EUREKA, etc.).
• Follow up work packages, deliverables, milestones and periodic reports of ongoing projects.
• Support R&D Center activities and documentation.
• Contribute to university–industry collaborations and new technology development, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
