 We are recruiting a Test and Commissioning Engineer, reporting to the Project Site Manager expected to contribute to the success of Atakoy – Ikitelli and Kayasehir – Basaksehir Signalisation projects. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and execute testing activities

         o    in support of one or several Projects on railway signaling systems under the direction of his / her hierarchy

          o   according to the testing procedure/documentation and following Sub-system T&C Leader and/or Site Manager instructions

• Ensure defects identification and correction (troubleshooting)
• In the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project, and ensure that all design-related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context
• Ensure follow-up of detected issues and deliver the commissioning reports.
• Check that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
• Support V&V team and perform the test in lab as per request
• Deliver the committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs, and Deadlines and in compliance with Alstom policies, local standards, and regulations (in particular EHS and RailwaySafety)
• Pro-actively manages internal interfaces with project engineering, installation, and external technical interfaces with Partners, Third Parties and Customers
• Deliver, Interlocking Subystem T&C procedures, Method Statements, and coordinate In-house trainings
• Prepare and manage Interlocking Subsystem Test & Commissioning works on the field
• Provide technical direction for assigned projects, execute and lead complex tests following procedures and standards
• Ensure EHS on the field with guidance and support from the Project team member in charge of Project EHS coordination
• Monitor/manage QCD performance (including EHS and RSA –Railway safety), report and anticipate issues
• Adhere to the T&C process, constantly improve it and align it with the regional and global organization
• Implement initiatives to continuously improve the responsiveness of the section/organization to customer/business needs / good practices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Automation and Control, Electronics and related) 
• Advanced level of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Railways Signaling
•  At least 1 year of experience as an engineer in a test environment, instrumentation or field activities in the railroad industry
• Competencies of Electronics, Mechanics, Computing
•  Knowledge of interlocking systems including electro-mechanical and electronic types
• IT Proficient
• Proactive in order to promptly solve technical issues and anticipate all technical difficulties
• Rigorous to perform T&C supervision activities
• Good relationship and reporting skills
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organization
• Strong initiative and professional demeanor
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Safety oriented
• Teamwork
• Will be able to attend night tests.
• Accommodates in The European side of Istanbul. (This position is based in Istanbul and for testing and commissioning of several metro lines mainly for Atakoy Ikitelli section.)
