Senior Electrical Design Engineer
ANDRITZ Hydro is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in İzmir.
About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the electrical design process for hydroelectric power plant projects, producing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the energy or industrial sector
- Experience in hydroelectric power plant projects is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in LV, MV, and Control system design
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and EPLAN
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Completed military service for male applicants
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and analysis of technical requirements based on project specifications
- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and workshop documentation
- Perform and review all design calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide technical guidance and review support to junior engineers
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Quality, and Project Management
- Support factory acceptance tests and site activities when required
