With more than 15 years of experience, we provide detailed design, FEED and concept studies, owner's engineering, functional safety and commissioning support for power plants, process and petrochemical facilities, oil & gas projects and renewable energy installations. Headquartered in Türkiye with an office in London, Dubai and Dakar, we have supported projects in over 25 countries, working to international standards such as IEC, IEEE, API, NFPA and ATEX/IECEx.
The Role
We are looking for a Project Engineer to take an active role in dynamic and innovative engineering projects. In this position you will contribute to the planning, management and execution of our projects, lead through every project phase, work closely with your teammates, and use your technical knowledge to bring projects to a successful close.
Please note that English is our working language. All internal and external communication, documentation and reporting are carried out in English, soEnglish at working proficiency level is a mandatory requirement for this role. Working knowledge ofFrench is a strong plus.
Qualifications
- English at working proficiency level (mandatory) — able to run meetings, correspondence and technical documentation entirely in English
- French language skills are a strong advantage
- Knowledge of welding processes and certification procedures
- Good command of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- No restrictions on travel, and able to work at project sites whenever required
- Able to work effectively under on-site working conditions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer or related experience
- Effective user of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Valid class B driver's licence
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Experienced in project management and execution processes
- Skilled in preparing technical documentation and reporting
- Able to live and work in Istanbul, Tuzla
- Turkish citizenship or a valid work permit for Turkey
Roles and Responsibilities
- Take an active role in the planning, execution and closing phases of projects
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively
- Monitor and report project progress
- Analyse technical issues and develop solution proposals
- Travel to and work at project sites as required, following the works on location
- Communicate effectively with the project team to ensure collaboration
- Define project requirements and provide technical solutions
- Follow welding and certification-related activities, ensuring compliance with the applicable standards and documentation requirements
- Prepare and review technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Optimise project processes using tools such as Microsoft Project
- Prepare project documentation and keep it up to date
- Continuously review and improve project management processes
