QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:

  • University degree from  Mechanical  Engineering
  • At least 4 years experience in HVAC design with multi-disciplinary teams on industrial facilities, Power Plants, office buildings and residential buildings.
  • Experience with HVAC equipment such as air handling units, chillers, heat exchangers, boilers, pumps etc.
  • Must have proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Self-motivated and solution provider.
  • No restriction to travel.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The HVAC group works with public and private clients in a variety of industrial projects. The successful candidate will be able to work under the supervision of senior leaders and will be responsible for  the following:

·        Preparation of HVAC & public health systems(plumbing) of buildings

·        Preparation of designs, drawings, calculations, and BoQs,

·        Preparation of calculations and reports in concept, preliminary, and detail design stages in one of the HVAC discipline areas,  

·        To identify and understand customer’s needs according to the technical specifications provide

.        To maintain technical interaction with all project team members and external consultants to deliver projects on time and to budget with quality output.

·        Preparation of technical specifications and material requisitions of HVAC equipment packages within a multi-disciplinary approach.

·        Technical evaluation of vendor quotations including preparation of technical bid comparisons

·        Preparation of equipment package documentation, information, communications, data sheets, engineering specifications, and ensuring conformance to all codes and company standards.

·        Participation in kick-off and supplier coordination meetings.

·        Review and comment on vendor documentation, compilation of comments from other disciplines.

·        Review and verification of related detail design engineering documents.
