Senior Business Analyst
General Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our IT team at CFN Kimya.
This role will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating operational needs into effective digital solutions aligned with the company's transformation roadmap. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, the Business Analyst will manage requests from initial assessment through solution design, implementation support, testing, and final user acceptance.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management capabilities, and hands-on experience with SAP environments, reporting systems, and business process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or Process Analysis
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst within SAP implementation, enhancement, support, or Digital Transformation projects. Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments is highly preferred
- Good understanding of SAP business processes and functional areas such as FI, CO, MM, and SD
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence platforms such as SAP Reporting solutions and Microsoft Power BI
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills. Experience in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Ability to evaluate and communicate the advantages and limitations of configuration changes, system extensions, and custom developments
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Good command of English
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in a relevant functional area
- Experience using request and project management tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
- Background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Experience in manufacturing environments and business process digitalization initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirement Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding system enhancement, process improvement, and reporting requests
- Gather, analyze, prioritize, and document business requirements from departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Production, Sales & Operations
- Conduct gap analyses to evaluate current system capabilities and identify improvement opportunities
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders
Solution Design & Process Improvement
- Design and document solution proposals focused on maximizing standard system capabilities and delivering measurable business value
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical teams
- Evaluate alternative solution approaches and provide recommendations based on business impact, cost, and feasibility
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the company's digital transformation roadmap
Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Manage reporting requests from initial requirement gathering through delivery and user acceptance
- Design and improve dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using available reporting platforms
- Validate reporting outputs with business owners and ensure data accuracy and usability
- Support the development of data-driven decision-making capabilities across the organization
Change Management & Project Support
- Support testing, user acceptance processes, and deployment activities for new solutions
- Monitor software release cycles and proactively identify new standard functionalities that may address business needs
- Assist in change management activities, including user communication, training materials, and adoption initiatives
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, external consultants, and technology partners to ensure successful project delivery
