CMA CGM, Turkey - an agency 100% owned by CMA-CGM Group, is staffed with knowledgeable and motivated industry professionals who work closely with its customers to provide them with the best possible service and high quality transport of their cargo. As a result of expanding our organization, we are currently looking for Sales Representative 
to join our fast growing and challenging organization.

 

ROLE:

 

Sales (Inside) is contributing to fulfill the Commercial Actions Plan in accordance with the line pricing policy, by "recruiting" cargo, by gaining and supporting customer loyalty and by developing new traffics through his/her knowledge of the markets.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Process quotation requests with all detailed information needed, according to Group requirements and internal procedures. (As per Tariffs and Tier or in case special requests apply to local Trade) 
  • Compile necessary documents from client for the credit requests and present Finance for approval.
  • Sell to customers the solution best fitted to their needs, taking into account Group interests and ensuring compliance to the Group Quality, Safety and Security Policies.
  • Carry out sales leads research, telephone canvassing, collect and structure information about client’s and follow it up.
  • Follow-up customers regarding quotations sent to them.
  • Sell all the Group products, tools and services (i.e eCommerce, intermodal, value added products etc.) & make/follow sales leads through CRM system.
  • Inform her/his customers about all CMA CGM services, updates, new products on regular basis.
  • Ensure update of commercial data in the information system (Lisa CRM) and try to identify the market.
  • Contribute in coordination with different departments of the Agency to resolution of customer business issues.
  • Structure information about competitive rate evolution in order to enable local Trade to adapt its commercial policy.
  • Ensure update of commercial data in the information system.
  • Participate in commodity and market segmentation for the Outside Sales.
  • Monitor clients' performance through vessel profile and share that information with the Outside Sales and the Trade.
  • Support Outside sales activity by providing him/her update of customer information and reporting.

  

REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFIC SKILLS: 

  • Graduate or post graduate level (+4 years) in university
  • Min +2 years experience in a similar role
