IDEAL PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Business Administration, Broadcasting, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus,
• 15+ years of experience in television programming, channel management, content strategy, scheduling, or media planning, with significant leadership experience,
• Proven expertise in developing and executing programming strategies across linear television and digital platforms,
• Strong knowledge of content planning, scheduling, portfolio management, and content lifecycle optimization,
• Experience leveraging audience measurement, ratings, and performance analytics to drive programming decisions and maximize business results,
• Deep understanding of entertainment content trends, audience viewing behaviors, and the evolving media landscape,
• Demonstrated ability to balance audience engagement, commercial objectives, and brand positioning,
• Experience working collaboratively with Content Acquisition, Production, Marketing, Commercial, Digital, Operations, and Distribution teams,
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable programming strategies,
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills,
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities,
• Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders,
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced broadcasting and streaming environment,
• Results-driven, commercially minded, and adaptable to changing business needs,
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Develop and execute the programming strategy across linear channels, OTT and digital platforms in line with business and audience objectives,
• Lead long-term, seasonal, and daily content planning, ensuring an optimized programming schedule across all entertainment services,
• Oversee channel scheduling and content placement to maximize audience reach, ratings, and viewer engagement,
• Develop content plans that balance acquired content, local productions, premieres, library programming, and special events,
• Collaborate with the Acquisitions team to identify content needs and support acquisition priorities based on programming requirements,
• Partner with the Content Productions team to integrate local productions into programming plans and optimize launch strategies,
• Oversee content quality control (QC) processes to ensure all programming meets editorial standards, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and platform compliance guidelines prior to scheduling and broadcast,
• Work closely with Broadcast Operations to ensure operational readiness,
• Analyze audience data and viewing behaviors to optimize scheduling decisions and improve content performance,
• Develop premiere, stunt, seasonal, and event programming strategies to drive audience growth and maximize viewing,
• Oversee content lifecycle planning, including premieres, repeat scheduling, catch-up windows, and library utilization,
• Ensure programming schedules comply with contractual rights, regulatory requirements, and editorial policies,
• Work closely with Marketing and Communications to align promotional campaigns with programming priorities and key launches,
• Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to maximize sponsorship and advertising opportunities through programming initiatives,
• Coordinate with Operations and Product teams to ensure accurate scheduling, metadata, and content availability across all platforms,
• Lead programming planning meetings and establish cross-functional alignment across content teams,
• Manage departmental budgets and resource planning,
• Lead and develop a high-performing programming team. Establish clear objectives, performance standards and professional development plans,
• Prepare programming performance reports, audience analyses, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership,
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, audience performance, and overall portfolio optimization.
