IDEAL PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Film, Television, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 15+ years of experience in television or digital content production, with a strong background in entertainment programming.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing production teams, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Proven experience overseeing both in-house production operations and external production companies.
• Strong expertise in production management, budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and post-production workflows.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating production agreements and managing complex production partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance creative excellence, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Programming, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams.
• Deep knowledge of the local television and entertainment production landscape, supported by a strong industry network.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile productions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Develop and execute the unscripted entertainment production strategy in line with programming and business goals.
• Lead the development, commissioning, and production of all entertainment formats (lifestyle, cooking, documentary, talk shows) across in-house and outsourced productions.
• Oversee the full production lifecycle from concept development and greenlight through production, post-production, delivery, and launch.
• Manage relationships with production companies, creative talent, producers, directors, and key industry partners.
• Evaluate and commission new program concepts, formats, and adaptations based on audience insights, market trends, and commercial objectives.
• Negotiate production agreements, budgets, schedules, and deliverables with external production partners.
• Oversee in-house production teams, ensuring efficient resource planning, collaboration, and high creative performance.
• Ensure all productions are delivered on schedule, within approved budgets, and in compliance with editorial, legal, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain production standards, workflows, and best practices across all local productions.
• Monitor production performance, budgets, risks, and timelines, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Collaborate closely with Programming, Acquisitions, Sales, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to maximize the impact of local productions.
• Drive innovation in content creation by identifying emerging production techniques, audience trends, and new entertainment formats.
• Oversee production budgets and ensure effective cost management and resource allocation across the production portfolio.
• Develop and mentor production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare executive reports, production updates, investment proposals, and performance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with local regulation and company policies throughout all productions.
