We are looking for a "Company Lawyer" to join Doğanlar Holding to manage all contract, litigation, enforcement, and regulatory compliance processes of our group companies,with a primary focus on our subsidiaries intensely operating in the construction sector.

General Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage all contract, litigation, enforcement, and regulatory processes regarding large-scale projects, specifically focusing on the construction, real estate, and infrastructure subsidiaries of Doğanlar Holding.

Job Description

• Managing all legal processes for the Holding and particularly the subsidiary companies operating in the construction sector,
• Representing the company before judicial and administrative courts,
• Handling all litigation and enforcement proceedings, including debt collection,
• Anticipating, analyzing, and developing strategies to mitigate potential legal risks,
• Drafting, reviewing, and conducting negotiations for contracts belonging to construction projects (subcontracting, procurement, construction-in-return-for-land, administrative specifications, etc.),
• Pre-identifying legal risks that may arise from the operations of subsidiaries and providing solution partnership to executive management,
• Researching and analyzing the legislation on requested matters and preparing summaries to be presented to executive management,
• Providing daily legal consultancy to internal units (Procurement, Project Management, Finance) in their operations,
• Tracking and preparing the litigation, enforcement, and arbitration processes to which the company is a party (coordinating with external law firms when necessary),
• Ensuring compliance of general assembly, board of directors decisions, and corporate law processes with the legislation.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from the Law faculties of reputable state or foundation universities,
• 5 - 10 years of experience in the field of in-house company lawyer or legal counsel,
• Having taken an active role in the legal processes of construction, real estate development, or superstructure projects,
• Expert in contract management, zoning legislation, construction-in-return-for-land, and subcontractor contracts,
• Having managed corporate legal processes within holding and subsidiary company structures,
• Advanced level of English (capable of conducting contract negotiations in a foreign language),
• Preferably a good command of French,
• Having no travel restrictions within the scope of construction sites, subsidiaries, or judicial processes,
• Completed military service for male candidates.
