Foreign Trade & Customs Specialist

EagleBurgmann Turkey is looking for Foreign Trade & Customs Specialist to support our growing local and international business in the Foreing Trade & Logistics department.

QUALIFICATIONS

•    University degree in Business Administration, Economy, Logistics or Foreign Trade,
•    At least 5 years of relevant experience in export-import,
•    Good foreign trade legislation knowledge,
•    Experienced in international sales contracts, payment methods, logistics processes and delivery methods (INCOTERMS),
•    Knowledge of customs processes,
•    Able to perform risk analysis and cost control in foreign trade,
•    Strong organizational, planning, monitoring, analytical thinking and reporting skills,
•    Able to work in a team, strong communication skills,
•    Working ability at SAP, MsOffice and automation tools,
•    Good written and verbal English knowledge,
•    Residing in Istanbul Anatolian Side or Kocaeli.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Creating work orders and following daily imports and exports customs operations
• Tracking and controlling completed customs process
• Carrying out communication with internal and external parties, such as suppliers, surveyors, shipping agents, customs brokers etc., during the handling of shipments
• Following legal correspondence
• Managing of legal approval process for special products
• Following up temporary imports and exports
• Tracking & reporting of bonded warehouse and transit shipments
• Control of all service invoices related to imports & export operation
• Monitoring and Propagation of Changes in Legislation and Central Directives and updating import and export procedures and work instruction
• Process improvement and saving activities
• Collaboration with related departments (Accounting, sales etc.)
