Your responsibilities as Approval officers;
1. Approve raw materials based on documentation
- Collect validation requests, verify completeness and eligibility
- Assess compliance with reference requirements
- pdate internal records
2. Conduct reviews
- Verify the relevance, adequacy, and effectiveness of assessment tasks and their results, examine any other relevant information
- Ensure that the previous steps in the process have not been compromised by personal interests
- Issue a recommendation for a certification decision
3. Approval decisions
- Grant, extend, renew, maintain, or reinstate approval
- Refuse, reduce, suspend, or withdraw approval
- Communicate the approval decision
- Issue a compliance document detailing the scope of approval
- Notify information that calls into question the validity of the approval
- Collect and analyze information that calls into question the validity of approval
Your responsibilities as Auditors;
1. Planning and preparing audits :
- Confirm the feasibility of the audit (qualification, delay, scope, conflict of interest, location) through acceptation of the assignment,
- Confirm and plan the audit and related tasks to perform with the client (date, scope, detailed plan)
- Prepare the necessary documents and tools to perform the audit (IT tools, standards and regulations, guidelines, sampling tools...),
- Review the necessary documents and knowledge related to the audit to perform (client profile, technical issues, fields of expertise, regulations and standards concerned).
2. Performing audits:
- Perform all the tasks related to the assignment received and necessary to obtain sufficient evidence (opening and closing meeting, document review, interview, activity observation, sampling...),
- Evaluate evidence to determine the compliance towards requirements.
3. Issuing audit reports:
- Write a report to present results (including findings and/or non-compliance) of audit performed,
- Communicate the report to the defined internal and external recipients.
4. Evaluating corrective actions
- Evaluate the corrective action submitted by the client to determine if adequate and relevant towards related findings and/or non-compliance,
- Evaluate evidence of corrective action implementation to determine the compliance towards findings and/or non-compliance.
Required profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related technical fields
Experience: Preferably 2 year experienced in the textile chemicals, cosmetics, detergent, plastic
Technical skills:
· Strong knowledge of preparing and/or evaluating SDS/MSDS (Safety Data Sheets)
· Knowledge of quality management systems
· Technical knowledge of environmental and toxicity assessments
· Technical knowledge of polymers, plastic packaging structures, and recycling processes
· Ability to review, evaluate, and report technical documentation
· Good command of written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of standards such as GOTS, ZDHC, COSMOS, Textile Exchange, RecyClass, etc.
· Experience in auditing, certification, or conformity assessment processes
· Technical knowledge of textile chemicals, wet processing/finishing processes, or cosmetic processes
· ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training and/or experience
