Research & Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Undertake the R&D projects and complete designated tasks related to product development,
• Developing, conducting and coordinating customer based projects according to specifications or customer requirements,
• Follow up the product development projectsand Prepare the project plan by conducting literature studies within the scope of new product development,
• Serve as the core subject matter expert providing technical assistance, root-cause troubleshooting, and process optimization to Sales, Quality, and Production teams,
• Benchmark, evaluate, and qualify alternative polymer raw materials and additives to optimize cost, sustainability, and technical performance,
• Prepare the monthly based reports of activities,
• Execute rigorous testing protocols and optimize laboratory workflows to fully sustain ISO 17025 accreditation standards and ensure data traceability,
• Contribute to maintenance of interdepartmental discipline and relation.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science and Technology,
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English, with a proven ability to review international technical standards, draft patent/technical documentation, and collaborate globally,
• Project engineering and /or management experience is an asset,
• A results-oriented professional with strong project management acumen, capable of driving deliverables forward in a fast-paced industrial environment,
• Customer oriented problem solver who can identify to root causes and recommend corrective actions,
• Great aptitude for continues learning and self-development,
• Team worker and strong communication skills.
