Supply Chain Long Term Intern

We are excited to present an invitation to you for a long-term supply chain internship at our Dilovası plant!

Fagor Electronica has been developing and manufacturing electronic components with European cutting-edge technologies for more than 55 years and it’s now expanding its business with the opening of a new production plant in Istanbul area.

Our headquarters are located in the Basque Country, north of Spain, and we additionally have production plants in Thailand and Mexico, as well as more than 20 commercial offices all over the world, employing a total number of 500 people.

We are part of the Mondragon Corporation, one the 10th largest business groups in Spain with 120 companies and 85.000 workers all over the world, including more than 15 years of experience manufacturing in Turkey.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Long-Term Intern eager to get involved in a challenging and fast-growing project in which you will be able to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

Key tasks/expectations

•       Deliveries and in-transit shipment status follow up.
•       Contact with suppliers for lead time confirmations in SAP.
•       Contact with customers for request-order registry and follow up.
•       Import – Export documentation control.
•       Expeditions documentation preparation: invoicing.
•       Custom clearance process follow up and register in the system.
•       General expense purchase order control.
•       Support to the supply chain responsible for miscellaneous tasks.

What We Are Looking For

• Students currently in their 4th year of undergraduate program that can work full-time during 6 months.

• Preferably degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, General Engineer programs.The company will show flexibility for adapting the working hours to the academic agenda.  

• Fluency in English.

• Good command of MS Office programs.

• Resolutive person, oriented to problem solving.

• Well organized and able to execute demanding lead time tasks.

• Motivated and willing to learn and grow professionally.
