Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales & Marketing Team Leader located in Kartal, Istanbul.
The Sales & Marketing Team Leader will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, leading sales and marketing activities, and supporting the growth of the company in domestic and international markets. The role requires close collaboration with management, project teams, procurement, design, and finance departments to achieve commercial objectives and business development targets.
- Develop and manage new customer acquisition and market expansion activities.
- Prepare detailed quotations, commercial proposals, presentations, and tender submissions for new projects.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide appropriate commercial and technical solutions.
- Manage proposal, negotiation, and contract processes with customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct customer visits and business development meetings.
- Perform market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and market developments.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies in coordination with management and team members.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Coordinate commercial activities and account follow-ups with relevant departments.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and manage customer feedback processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, tendering, or commercial operations.
- Experience in shipbuilding, marine, construction, interior fit-out, or project-based industries is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and architectural design software.
- Proficiency in 3ds Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar visualization software
- Proven experience in customer relationship management and commercial negotiations.
- Experience preparing quotations, commercial proposals, and tender documentation.
- Strong business development, market research, and competitor analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong planning, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to coordinate and motivate teams.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, exhibitions, and business meetings.
- Valid driver's license.
- Based in Istanbul and able to work on-site in Kartal.
