What awaits you in this role?
Supervise security operations, security personnel and contracted security companies.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Supporting the continuation of the general and administrative activities of the unit
Minimize risks.
What are we looking for in this position?
Reporting potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and enforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects.
Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and security vendors etc., to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.
Fostering a culture of security awareness and communication with employees on security protocols and procedures.
Technical & Behavioural Skills and Competencies
Advanced level/upper intermediate English level, oral and written communication skills.
5+ years of experience in security management with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs.
Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety.
Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations at a large scale.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
To be proficient in budget planning processes and reporting.
To be proficient in ISPS and other port facility security processes.
