QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in accounting and finance systems.
• Experienced in cost accounting processes in manufacturing companies.
• Solid understanding of tax laws, financial regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organizing and implementing monthly-, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including evaluations according to legal, and group requirements.
• Implementing accounting projects, carry-out automation-optimizations, working out guidelines and process requirements.
• Accounting according to accounting policies (IFRS etc.)
• Adherence to the correct procedure of relevant processes in day-to-day-business (e.g. bank transactions, accounting matters, etc.)
• Carry-out analyses in the field of accounting (e.g. aging lists of debtors, etc.)
• Responsible for fixed asset accounting
• Internal reporting (e.g. monthly reports), external reporting
• Working out complex accounting-specific specialist topics (e.g. loans, capital increase), decision recommendations, and depicting scenarios for the management
• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the department
• Management of cost accounting business processes; calculation and tracking of unit costs
• Comparison of standard and actual costs on a product and project basis, and the analysis and reporting of variances.
• Conducting estimated and standard cost analyses for new project.
