What will I do?

• Lead a team of local IT Experts, line reporting to GM's and dotted reporting to the IT Manager (EMEA Region)
• Planning the projects, prepared in accordance with the company’s IT strategies, in terms of employee, equipment and time, evaluating and completing them without any problem.
• Provide IT technical support to users, resolving any issues with software or hardware.
• Manage suppliers and services: structured cabling, printing, microcomputing, etc.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer equipment in a Microsoft/Linux environments.
• Install and maintain Group software.
• Provide remote and on-site support to users, assisting and collaborating with other departments.
• Monitor and resolve incidents.
• Ensure local technical documentation is up-to-date.
• Configure applications and equipment (Windows environment).
• Configure computer equipment (Windows environment, IP, VPN).
• Report service failures and follow up on their resolution with suppliers.
• Ensure Asset Inventory guidelines & Backup solutions are correctly implemented and functional.
• Assure and manage local annual IT budget ensuring cost effectiveness and staff to drive excellence in information technology to support short-, medium-, and long-term objectives. (Reporting, KPI's, …).
• Coordinate and escalate cases, while providing accurate information and documentation, ensuring constant communication with IT central services.
• Conduct training sessions, heads-up, awareness on security issues and subsequent reporting and follow-up to the group.
• Participate as necessary in area development meetings with key clients.
• Guarantee implementation of policies, procedures, and standards related to information and telecommunications systems.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Information Technology or similar
• Great communication skills
• Advanced technical English (oral and written).
• German is a plus.
• Availability to travel.
• Experience: 5+ years as IT Manager; familiar with local data protection regulations, EuropeanGDPR and data compliance.
• Experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and scripting is a plus.
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, virtualization, and cloud environments is a plus.
