Construction Contract and Claims Manager

Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze commercial conditions of contracts such as FIDIC or similar

•         Experience and knowledge of MS Office applications
•        Ability to apply and comply with statutory legislation and regulations
•         Experience in Site Management and ability to work at construction project site as needed
•         Knowledge of planning and schedule delay analysis is a big plus
•        Team player with international experience and willingness to travel

Job Description:

•         Abitility to analyze contracts and draft letters
•         Ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements of varying projects
•        Liaise with customer representatives to review claims assessments and agree strategy for resolution
•         Provide strategic commercial support on contracts, claims and schedule issues
•         Manage support for Customer dispute resolution proceedings e.g. mediations and arbitrations. Previous experience with arbitration is a big plus
•        Production of high quality, clear and concise written claims assessments and correspondence
•         Ability to create baseline schedules and perform regular updates is a plus
•        Evaluate tender documents and support legal team on technical risks
•         Overall understanding of cost engineering is necessary
