QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university; a master’s degree in private law, commercial law, or a related field is preferred,
• Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Contract Law, financial transactions, and preferably legal processes related to the Maritime and Mining Sectors.
• Proven experience in managing high-level legal processes within corporate organizations or law/advisory firms,
• Advanced command of English, with strong written and verbal communication skills,
• Proficient in MS Office applications and legal research / case tracking tools,
• Strong knowledge of company formation, corporate structuring, legal compliance, contract management, risk analysis, and dispute management,
• Strong negotiation, representation, legal assessment, and problem-solving skills,
• Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a results- and solution-oriented working approach,
• Able to communicate effectively with senior management and work in coordination with cross-functional teams,
• Capable of adapting to a fast-paced work environment and managing multiple legal processes simultaneously.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage and oversee litigation, enforcement, disputes, and similar legal matters involving or potentially involving the company,
• Handle the legal aspects of company, subsidiary, branch, or similar entity establishment and structuring processes,
• Provide legal support on corporate law matters, including general assembly and board resolutions, share transfers, changes in partnership structures, and corporate decision-making processes,
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate all internal and external company contracts,
• Provide legal advice and support regarding transactions with banks, financial institutions, and other corporate stakeholders,
• Assess national and international contracts, operations, and business relationships from a legal perspective in line with commercial activities,
• Analyze sector-specific legal risks arising from the company’s operations and recommend preventive actions,
• Monitor the company’s legal compliance processes, track legislative changes, and inform relevant departments accordingly,
• Manage legal matters related to intellectual property rights, ownership rights, and commercial rights and obligations,
• Provide regular legal advice to senior management regarding legal risks, potential disputes, and strategic decision-making areas.
