FINANCE MANAGER

Location: Tekirdağ Region, Türkiye
Work Arrangement: On-site

A manufacturing company operating in the Tekirdağ region is seeking an experiencedFinance Manager to oversee and manage the financial activities of its production facility.

Role Objective

Report to senior finance management and serve as the primary point of contact for the plant's financial and commercial matters.

Provide accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and actionable financial insights to support operational performance and business decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• CPA / SMMM certification or an equivalent professional qualification.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably including at least 3 years in manufacturing or plant finance.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, product costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, and financial controls.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to prepare effective financial presentations.

• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system is an advantage.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial data into practical business recommendations.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with a strategic and business-oriented approach.

• Residing in, or willing to relocate to, Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Kapaklı, or nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee plant finance transactions and ensure accurate and timely month-end closing.

• Prepare and analyze monthly plant financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) within agreed reporting timelines.

• Maintain effective internal controls across plant operations and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Lead annual plant budgeting and periodic financial forecasting in coordination with department managers; review budget proposals and underlying assumptions.

• Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory counts and inventory records; investigate and explain discrepancies between accounting records and physical stock.

• Review and audit product costing processes, ensure cost accuracy, and regularly report findings.

• Evaluate the plant's operational and financial performance.

• Analyze material and labor costs, manufacturing overheads, distribution costs, returns, and inventory levels; investigate significant variances and recommend corrective actions.

• Coordinate regular discussions with manufacturing, finance, planning, and distribution teams on plant finance matters.

• Ensure appropriate provisions are made for obsolete inventory in accordance with company policies.

• Ensure plant assets are properly safeguarded and adequately insured.

• Evaluate investment projects and budgets from a financial perspective; analyze and monitor investment profitability, returns, and financial performance.

• Participate in investment planning and evaluation processes; compare actual investment expenditures against budgets and monitor project progress.
