Human Resources Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our HR team, with strong expertise in payroll and personnel affairs, a solid understanding of general HR processes, and the ability to actively contribute to compensation and benefits, reporting and budgeting activities.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Labour Economics and Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Economics or a related field,

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in payroll and personnel affairs,

• Strong knowledge of Turkish Labour Law, Social Security legislation and relevant employment regulations,

• Hands-on experience in payroll calculations, timesheet management, leave and absence tracking, employee onboarding and offboarding, severance and notice pay processes,

• Good knowledge of SGK, İŞKUR and other relevant official procedures,

• Knowledge of core HR processes including recruitment, training, performance management and employee relations,

• Experience in HR budgeting, personnel cost tracking, reporting and HR analysis,

• Knowledge of compensation management, salary structures, salary surveys and compensation benchmarking,

• Knowledge of compensation and job evaluation structures and methodologies such as Korn Ferry and Mercer, as well as salary benchmarking studies,

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel,

• Ability to prepare HR reports and metrics and analyse data to generate meaningful insights,

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail,

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach,

• Preferably experienced in PDKS, payroll and HR information systems,

• Ability to review and control Monthly Withholding and Premium Service Declarations (Muhtasar ve Prim Hizmet Beyannamesi),

• Preferably proficient in English.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing and maintaining employee personnel files in compliance with applicable legislation,

• Managing personnel processes including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, salary changes and other employment-related transactions,

• Monitoring timesheets, annual leave, medical reports, absences and overtime,

• Supporting monthly payroll preparation processes and performing payroll checks and controls,

• Performing calculations and controls related to severance pay, notice pay, annual leave and other employee entitlements,

• Supporting processes carried out with SGK, İŞKUR and other relevant official authorities,

• Contributing to the development and improvement of HR policies, procedures and practices,

• Taking an active role, when required, in recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations and other HR processes,

• Preparing the annual HR budget, monitoring budget versus actuals and preparing relevant reports,

• Regularly monitoring, reporting and analysing HR metrics such as personnel costs, headcount, turnover, leave and absenteeism,

• Supporting the analysis of salary structures, salary levels and employee costs,

• Monitoring salary surveys and market compensation data and preparing relevant analyses,

• Contributing to the analysis of data obtained from compensation benchmarking and job evaluation studies such as Korn Ferry, Mercer and similar methodologies,

• Preparing HR reports, analyses and presentations based on management requirements,

• Taking an active role in HR digitalization and process improvement initiatives,

• Monitoring updates in employment legislation and contributing to the implementation of necessary actions.
