QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year of experience, preferably 2 years, in procurement and/or international trade, preferably within the chemicals, industrial minerals or fertilizers sectors.

• A university degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of procurement processes, supplier sourcing and international trade procedures.

• Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.

• Ability to research market trends, compare supplier quotations and support purchasing decisions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with procurement or ERP software is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Basic knowledge of import/export documentation, delivery terms (Incoterms) and cost components is preferred.

• Good planning, organizational and time management skills.

• A proactive, collaborative and results-oriented approach, with a willingness to learn.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Availability to travel.

• For male candidates, military service must be completed or deferred.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Procurement Specialist will support domestic and international procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, quotation collection, price comparisons, purchase order follow-up and delivery coordination. This position will work closely with procurement teams in different countries, as well as sales, operations and finance teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Research and identify potential suppliers based on product specifications and business requirements.

• Collect supplier quotations and prepare comparisons covering prices, payment terms, delivery conditions and lead times.

• Support supplier negotiations under the guidance of the procurement manager.

• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations, relevant documentation and delivery schedules.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier information, purchasing records and procurement data in the relevant systems.

• Monitor market developments and price movements, and report relevant findings.

• Assist with cost analysis, benchmarking and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Support supplier performance monitoring in terms of quality, delivery, pricing and responsiveness.

• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to clarify purchasing needs and delivery priorities.

• Support finance and operations teams with payment follow-up and import/export documentation.

• Identify potential supply or delivery issues and promptly report them to the relevant manager.

• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and order status.
