Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Mechanical Engineer to support engineering projects, customer communication, and business development activities in the energy industry.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills in Turkish and English, and the ability to support management during customer meetings, technical discussions, and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with project coordination, planning, and progress tracking.

* Accompany management to power plants, customer meetings, and industrial facilities.

* Support technical and commercial discussions by providing accurate Turkish–English interpretation during meetings and site visits.

* Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding technical requirements, project updates, and business opportunities.

* Contact customers, arrange meetings, and follow up on agreed actions in coordination with management.

* Conduct market research to identify potential customers, upcoming projects, and business opportunities.

* Research targeted companies and projects, collect relevant information, and establish initial contact as directed.

* Prepare and deliver company presentations together with management to introduce our technical capabilities, products, and services.

* Support the preparation of technical documents, commercial proposals, reports, and correspondence.

* Review engineering drawings and use engineering software to support project activities.

* Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and project documentation.

* Maintain customer records and follow up on enquiries, quotations, and business opportunities.

* Attend customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and business trips when required.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

* Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.

* Fluent Turkish and excellent written and spoken English (mandatory).

* Ability to communicate and interpret technical and commercial discussions between Turkish and English.

* Familiarity with industrial and mechanical engineering terminology.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

* Strong research skills and the ability to identify potential customers and business opportunities.

* Confidence in communicating with customers and participating in technical and commercial meetings.

* Ability to understand management priorities, follow agreed business strategies, and take initiative within assigned responsibilities.

* Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.

* Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

* Enthusiasm for engineering and business development, with a willingness to learn.

* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

* A valid driving licence and the ability to drive when required.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the energy industry, power plants, gas turbines, or steam turbines.

* Familiarity with CATIA, SolidWorks, or Geomagic.

* Knowledge of industrial component inspection, dimensional measurement, and quality documentation.

* Experience in market research, technical sales, or business development.

* Experience working with international customers and suppliers.
