Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our leading production company in the sector.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the control of materials and products within the scope of legal requirement, to determine inspection, test and test methods
• To evaluate and approve new Packaging and Raw Material suppliers in line with company’s standards and food safety requirements
• To manage and improve quality assurance processes and risk assessments related to Packaging and Raw Material suppliers
• Responsible for the establishment, management and sustainability of Quality Management Systems
• To manage and monitor the Quality Assurance Department budget, to identify and budget in line with the needs of the plant on the basis of the quality criteria
• Acting with the awareness that Quality Assurance processes are a part of the Quality Management System, ensuring an effective communication between Management and Production Team, ensuring that processes are carried out quickly and effectively
• Planning and coordinating all improvement and correction projects related to Product, Process and Quality Systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related departments
• 10+ years experience in Quality and Regulatory field within a multinational pharma, supplements or FMCG environment
• Understanding of food manufacturing including Food GMPs, SOPs, HACCP/Food Safety, auditing and inspections
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of Management
• Preferably having GMP, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 internal audit certificates
• Result-oriented, having analytical thinking, giving importance to teamwork and strong communication
• Ability to multitask, be detail oriented
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs
• No restrictions to travel
