GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in Quality, Customer Quality and/or Supplier Quality Development roles, preferably within the automotive industry
• Experience in APQP, PPAP and new project/product launch processes
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA standards; internal auditor training is preferred
• Knowledge of problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and FMEA
• Experience in customer complaints, non-conformity management and corrective/preventive action processes
• Knowledge of customer-specific requirements (CSR) and customer quality portals is preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, solution-oriented and a strong team player with effective communication skills
• Willing and able to conduct customer and supplier visits when required

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supplier Quality

• Follow up on supplier-related quality issues, initiate Corrective Action Requests (CAR) and monitor actions until closure
• Manage communication with suppliers regarding quality issues and ensure necessary information is shared in a timely manner
• Manage and follow up on PPAP documentation for new projects, parts and suppliers
• Participate in new supplier selection and evaluation processes and support the Purchasing Department during supplier approval activities
• Conduct supplier visits and audits in accordance with the supplier audit plan and follow up on identified corrective actions
• Plan and carry out supplier development activities and monitor and report supplier quality performance

Customer Quality

• Manage customer quality complaints and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions with relevant departments
• Coordinate the preparation of 8D reports for customer complaints, ensure timely submission to customers and follow up on actions until closure
• Follow up on quality notifications, actions and related records through customer quality portals
• Monitor Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) and support their implementation within internal processes
• Monitor, analyze and report customer quality performance indicators, including PPM and customer complaint data
• Support preparations for customer audits and visits and actively participate in customer quality-related activities during audits
• Participate in on-site problem-solving and investigation activities at customer locations when required
• Prepare and ensure the timely submission of quality documentation requested by customers

General Quality Responsibilities

• Contribute to internal system, process and product audits
• Participate in production release activities during new product launches
• Support the analysis of internal and external quality issues, identification of root causes and implementation of permanent corrective actions
• Support the monitoring and reporting of quality KPIs
