Why This Role Matters

As a Quality Engineer Associate (Equipment), you will play a key role in maintaining equipments (curing and basic building) for New Product Industrialization activities.

This role offers a strong opportunity to grow your expertise in quality processes specific to New Product Industrialization while contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking team.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and support inventory tracking processes.

  • Coordinate new and existing mold transportation and perform necessary checks.

  • Management of external contractor relationships for mold maintenance and equipment-related orders.

  • Download and review corporate equipment specifications, coordinate within the EFLTC system, and maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders.

  • Support and monitor the equipment-related budget.

  • Follow defined processes to ensure all new products and equipment are received, developed, tested, and released in line with Goodyear requirements.

  • Monitor new tire performance after release, proactively addressing quality matters and supporting production in resolving equipment-related waste issues.

  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring consistent quality and responsive support.

  • Participate in Focused Improvement (FI) projects to drive cost-saving initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in New Product Industrialization or Product Development Equipment processes within the automotive industry

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on troubleshooting experience

  • Solid knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, Six Sigma, SPC, 8D, Fishbone, etc.)

  • Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage

  • Experience in project planning, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) with strong interpersonal and communication skills
