We are looking for a Warehouse, Distribution & e-Commerce Management Trainee to join our Operations Department in the Gebze region.
This role offers a great opportunity for early-career talents to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce operations, warehouse management, bonded warehouse processes, and distribution activities. The trainee will work closely with cross-functional teams while developing expertise in online retail operations, marketplace management, and customer experience processes.
Job Description
- Support daily warehouse, bonded warehouse, distribution, and e-commerce operations to ensure operational continuity and service excellence.
- Monitor daily operational workload and execute material movement transactions in SAP, including inter-location transfers, store return entries, and inventory adjustments.
- Support order fulfillment processes and coordinate operations between warehouse, logistics, and e-commerce teams.
- Assist with marketplace operations, ensuring timely follow-up of orders, returns, cancellations, and customer requests.
- Manage and follow up customer compensation and claim processes on e-commerce marketplaces.
- Monitor cargo performance and investigate customer complaints related to deliveries, delays, damaged shipments, and lost parcels.
- Coordinate transportation appointments and operational activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support weekly volume and stock reconciliations with warehouse and distribution teams.
- Control logistics-related invoices and assist in periodic reporting activities.
- Prepare operational reports and analyses to improve stock accuracy, service levels, customer satisfaction, and process efficiency.
- Provide backup support to warehouse, distribution, e-commerce, and bonded warehouse teams during leave periods.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or final-year student in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Internship or project experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Strong interest in e-commerce, online retail, and marketplace operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting, and basic data analysis).
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and follow-up capabilities.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within e-commerce and supply chain operations.
- Available to work 5 days a week.
