Budget & Reporting Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Budget Reporting Specialist to support the hotel's financial planning and control processes, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in line with company standards.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and consolidate the hotel's annual budget in coordination with department heads,
• To prepare monthly forecasts and analyze variances between actual results, budget, and forecast,
• To prepare periodic financial and management reports, presenting key findings and recommendations to management,
• To monitor departmental expenses and revenues, flagging deviations from budget in a timely manner,
• To support month-end and year-end closing processes related to budgeting and reporting,
• To prepare P&L analysis, cost control reports, and KPI tracking reports for management review,
• To ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of all reports,
• To protect confidential financial and guest information at all times,
• To adapt to any changes within the department in line with the hotel's needs.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the hospitality industry,
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends,
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with budgeting/reporting software is an asset,
• Excellent communication and organizational skills,
• Strong team-working ability and ability to coordinate with multiple departments
