Hyosung Group operates in various sectors including Spandex, Nylon, Polyester, tire cord used in the tire manufacturing industry, industrial materials used in seat belt and airbag production, heavy industry products such as motors and high-voltage distribution equipment, as well as polypropylene, TPA and optical film production in the chemical industry. In addition, the Group operates in areas such as ATM machines, storage systems, LED products, IT and construction.

We are looking for a “MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER” with the following qualifications to work at our SPANDEX (Elastane Yarn) production factory located in Kapaklı / TEKİRDAĞ.

Our production facility operates 24/7. Therefore, depending on operational requirements, the employee may be required to work or provide technical support on weekends and public/religious holidays.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or other related engineering departments.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of textile machinery,
• Experience in pneumatic systems,
• Preferably experienced in mechanical maintenance in industrial manufacturing facilities,
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Proficient in MS Office applications,
• Strong teamwork and team coordination skills,
• Strong communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Interested in system development and continuous improvement,
• Military service completed for male candidates,
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Kapaklı or Saray.

Company accommodation will be provided for candidates relocating from other cities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare and implement periodic maintenance plans for machinery and equipment on the production line,
• Perform root cause analysis in case of breakdowns and develop permanent corrective solutions,
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities,
• Perform maintenance and repair activities for textile machinery and pneumatic systems,
• Monitor machine performance and carry out improvement activities to increase efficiency and reliability,
• Maintain and report maintenance records regularly,
• Identify spare parts and maintenance material requirements and follow stock levels,
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with occupational health and safety requirements,
• Take an active role in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment,
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and TPM,
• Carry out energy-saving and efficiency improvement activities related to the department,
• Monitor critical spare parts and materials in the warehouse and initiate purchase requests when required,
• Provide relevant technical training to employees according to the annual training plan and report the results,
• Prepare work plans for breakdown, maintenance, repair and improvement activities within his/her area of responsibility and coordinate team members accordingly.
