Position: Freight Forwarding (Supply Chain Management) Manager
Location: Kozyatağı, İstanbul

Role Summary:

Freight Forwarding (SCM) Manager oversees end-to-end logistics operations for automotive accounts, including ocean, air, and road transportation, customs clearance, and key account management, ensuring uninterrupted supply chain flow and preventing production disruptions. The role drives operational excellence and profitability through rate negotiation, incident management, new business setup, and data-driven performance monitoring while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

• Manage key accounts and maintain strong client relationships
• Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations (ocean, air, trucking, customs)
• Negotiate logistics rates and manage cost efficiency
• Ensure continuity of supply chain to avoid production line disruptions
• Monitor and drive sales and profitability performance
• Lead the setup and implementation of new business operations
• Manage daily operations and team performance
• Handle incidents and develop alternative logistics solutions
• Oversee documentation and reporting processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Extensive expertise in export-import transportation, international logistics, and customs clearance
• Strong understanding of automotive logistics and production urgency
• Strong coordination and communication skills across multiple stakeholders
• High sense of ownership, responsibility, and customer orientation
• Strong data literacy and business acumen
• Fluency in English
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Able or willing to work in İstanbul, preferably Anatolian side.
