SPA MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated SPA Manager to join the SPA & Wellness Department of InterContinental Grand Ankara. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, a passion for guest satisfaction, extensive knowledge of SPA operations, and the ability to drive revenue growth while continuously enhancing service quality.

Job Description

• Oversee and manage all daily operations of the SPA & Wellness Department, ensuring compliance with established service standards,
• Provide strategic direction and effective leadership to ensure efficient departmental operations,
• Deliver exceptional service in accordance with IHG brand standards and HeartBeat guest satisfaction metrics,
• Continuously enhance the guest experience and implement initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty,
• Manage daily staff scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations,
• Motivate, coach, and develop team members to improve performance, engagement, and professional growth,
• Prepare and implement annual business plans, departmental budgets, and revenue targets,
• Develop and execute marketing, promotional, and revenue management strategies to maximize SPA profitability,
• Monitor and analyze SPA treatments, services, retail sales, and overall departmental performance,
• Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes in accordance with IHG supplier management policies,
• Ensure full compliance with IHG Way of Clean standards, health regulations, hygiene requirements, and safety procedures,
• Conduct regular inspections of SPA facilities, equipment, cleanliness, and overall service quality,
• Prepare financial reports, revenue and expense analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs),
• Conduct regular operational reviews and performance evaluation meetings,
• Collaborate closely with hotel senior management and other departments to ensure seamless operations,
• Promote SPA services and enhance departmental visibility through hotel events and promotional activities,
• Actively participate in VIP guest recognition, special events, and personalized SPA experiences,
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently,
• Maintain consistently high service standards in accordance with international hospitality and SPA practices.

Required Qualifications

• Previous management experience in SPA & Wellness departments, preferably within international luxury hotels,
• Strong knowledge and experience in SPA operations, wellness services, and departmental management,
• Proven leadership, team management, and organizational skills,
• Good command of English, both written and spoken,
• Excellent guest relations and customer service skills,
• Experience in SPA sales, marketing, budgeting, and revenue management,
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost control, and KPI analysis,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
• Familiarity with SPA reservation systems and hotel management software is preferred,
• Knowledge of international hygiene, health, safety, and service quality standards,
• Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities,
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and professional presentation skills,
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to develop revenue-generating strategies,
• Positive attitude, professional approach, and strong commitment to guest satisfaction,
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment,
• High standards of personal grooming, appearance, and professional conduct,
• Ability to maintain and deliver services in accordance with international hospitality and IHG brand standards.
