What you will do
The Sales Support Engineer - HVAC & Industrial Refrigeration will be directly working with sales team. You will be based in Istanbul/Turkiye and support sales and growth initiatives across the Caspian Region, and Central Asia by providing technical and commercial support for HVAC and Industrial Refrigeration solutions.
You will be in direct contact with customers, consultants, contractors, and end users, supporting sales opportunities from the initial inquiry stage through project execution. As a member of the sales support team, you will collaborate closely with sales teams, application engineering, product management, factories, and regional business leaders.
The position offers an exciting opportunity for young and dynamic engineers who are eager to develop their technical and commercial skills while working in international markets.
Important: This role is 1 year contract, with possibility extending additional 1 year or to be converted to regular contract.
How you will do it
As a Sales Support Engineer, you will provide technical and application support to Sales Teams and Customers for HVAC and Industrial Refrigeration solutions.
You will support the preparation of technical proposals, equipment selections, project documentation, and commercial quotations. You will utilize Johnson Controls engineering and selection tools to identify optimum solutions for customer requirements.
In this role, you will communicate with dealers, consultants, designers, contractors, project managers, and end users throughout the Caspian Region, and Central Asia. You will provide application support and basic system design recommendations while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and international industry standards.
You will also contribute to customer presentations, technical trainings, project follow-ups, and market development activities.
What we look for
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC and/or Industrial Refrigeration applications, design, engineering, or sales support
- Good verbal and written command of English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-oriented mindset
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international business environment
- Solid business communication skills, including preparation of technical reports, quotations, and customer correspondence
- Well-versed in MS Office applications and AutoCAD
- Ability to manage multiple customer inquiries and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred
- Experience in HVAC, Industrial Refrigeration, Cooling, Chiller, Heat Pump, Compressor, or Process Cooling applications
- Familiarity with equipment selection software and project tender documentation
- Experience supporting customers and projects in the Caspian Region and Central Asia
- Knowledge of international engineering standards and specifications
- Russian language skills would be considered a strong advantage
- Additional language skills relevant to the Central Asia region are a plus
