Research Fellow (Post-Doc)

Koç University will be hiring a ''Project research fellow" to work on the Project of “Mapping, understanding, assessing and predicting the effects of remote working arrangements in urban and rural areas” especially working and living condition focus  with the following qualifications:

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the project coordinator, participate in business planning, project management, and related tasks.
• Engage in scientific and academic duties.
• Assist and contribute to activities related to international projects.
• Collaborate in the management and delivery of interdisciplinary, high-impact research projects.
• Publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals.

Further Information:

 This role is suitable for individuals seeking to develop leadership in research, establish research networks, and manage international projects. It is a full-time, two-year appointment, with the level of appointment based on the candidate's experience and track record.

Requirements:

• Hold a PhD degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Public Health, or have graduated from relevant departments of universities with perspectives in medical school, psychology, sociology, occupational health and safety, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
• Competent in primary and secondary research procedures, academic assistance, planning and organization, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in academic software and tools, MS Office, scientific software, quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Preferably, previous experience working on European Union projects.
• Open-minded and capable of supporting multiple projects and project coordinators in academic tasks and communications.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment.
