We are looking for an Analyst to join our Sustainability Team in Turkey. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and rapidly expanding sustainability team, working with a diverse client base to develop and support in delivering their objectives.


Job Description

KPMG Sustainability Services team responds with enthusiasm to a mix of assurance and consulting sustainability challenges; calling on our team of local and global experts to use their knowledge and expertise to work together to deliver market-leading value for our clients. We help clients to implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.

We deliver a wide range of services including but are not limited to: Sustainability Assurance and Reporting; Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Risk Analysis; Sustainability Strategy and Implementation; True Value; and ESG Due Diligence.

You will be expected to support the team on client projects as well as helping to grow our business.


Strong candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate:

  •   Research on local and global sustainability trends, stakeholder interest, media campaigns, peer benchmarking
  •   Establish and maintain the monitoring and data systems of sustainability projects, initiatives and activities
  •   Support internal and external communication via various channels: website, intranet, presentations, workshops, newsletters, social media, video, etc.
  •   Engage with a wide range of stakeholders (at all levels of seniority) in client organisations
  •   Assisting clients with the identification of stakeholders, risks and opportunities
  •   Understanding client needs and translation of these into clearly defined and deliverable advisory or assurance scopes of work
  •   Assist internal and external high-quality sustainability reporting, including annual sustainability reports, internal management reports, stakeholder reporting requirements, etc.
  •   Accountability for specific defined work assignments/engagements, completing  all tasks that meet the team’s and client’s expectations
  •   Demonstrate commitment to obtaining technical capabilities relevant to the service line
  •   Contribution to the continued growth of the team and workload
  •   Other department activities as required by the Head of Sustainability



  •   Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in engineering, environmental science, international relations, business administration or position-related other fields; preferably an MSc degree from an accredited university
  •   Analysis &Judgement - quickly understands and analyses complex data and problems; comes up with sound and rational judgement.
  •   Effective Communication - communicates in a clear, precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively.
  •   Excellent command of English
  •   High level of energy with lots of drive and enthusiasm
  •   Constructive Teamwork - Ability to work and thrive in a dynamic international team; shares knowledge, experience and information; supports others in the pursuit of team goals while delivering high quality written outputs within agreed time periods
  •   Initiative & Responsibility - acts on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results.
  •   Ability to be flexible work efficiently and effectively managing a number of tasks in parallel

  •   Good command of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint are prerequisites
