Accounts Receivable Specialist

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that accounts are properly billed and that payments are collected on time.
• Process, verify, and post the receipts to the regarding accounts.
• Review account information, correct discrepancies, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Processing and recording transactions.
• Maintain records regarding payments and account statuses.
• Manage customer's credit limit (AR insurance limit, Bank Guarantee, DDS).
• Manage AR Factoring from the bank and Credit Card Payment System.
• Examine customer payment plans, payment history and credit line to investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
• Obtain information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
• Working with Finance and Sales departments to review accounts and client payment and credit history to develop new or better repayment terms.
• Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
• Generating reports and statements for internal use.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Being Fluent in English is a MUST. (İleri düzeyde İngilizce bilgisi gereklidir. Görüşme İngilizce gerçekleştirilecektir.) 
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration or other quantitative fields.
• 3-4 years of experience in the same or similar Roles and Responsibilities listed above.
• Sophisticated skills in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs).
• Solid analytical, evaluative and critical thinking skills.
• Able to perform business math calculations.
• Ability to clearly articulate and present ideas both in written and orally to senior leadership.
• A problem-solver who is comfortable contacting different parts of the organization and escalating issues where appropriate.
• Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure and in a constantly evolving environment to meet deadlines.
• Focused, attention to detail and high standards for quality and accuracy in work
• Organized with timely and assertive follow up skills and execution.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
