QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Maersk is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Forwarder Sales Executive for the Turkey Regions. Forwarder Sales Executive position is an individual contributor position, directly reports to Efficiency&Bulk Conversion Sales Manager and will be located in Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Win where we target and deliver budgeted volume & revenue.
• Perform sales calls to identify clients’ business strategies and objectives, and logistics needs.
• Ensure minimum sales standards are fully met in terms of pipeline management, sales call preparation, persuasive selling method application and close & won follow-up.
• Focus on end-to-end service delivery. Supporting Company key product Ocean with value-added L&S features.
• Be part of the transformation of the Sales organisation- Support & Onboard Forwarder Segment Customers to know / to be part of company’s digital agenda.
• Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to provide first-class service to further increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Drive the balance between Customer Needs & Company priorities and generate results accordingly


We are looking for

• University degree
• At least 2 years of sales experience in the logistics industry
• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Turkish
• Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
• Eager to learn and grow, flexible to adjust her /himself to change
• Passionate, dedicated, energetic, self-driven with commitment to succeed
• Self-motivated, active, customer driven , result -oriented
• Willingness to be a team player
• Able to undertake challenges and take the initiative
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications
• No military obligation for male candidates
