Design Engineer

The world's leading wheel manufacturer Maxion Wheels is looking a "Design Engineer" for Maxion Inci Steel Commercial Vehicle Wheels (Jantaş) plant located in Manisa Industrial Zone. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
• Preferably 2–4 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Proficiency in English
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and CATIA
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA); experience with Altair HyperWorks is preferred
• Foundational knowledge of materials, mechanics, and fatigue life
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate across disciplines

Job Responsibilities

• Performing structural analyses (static, dynamic, linear/nonlinear, and fatigue) for new product development projects
• Developing product and component designs for new product development projects.
• Performing structural analyses (static, dynamic, linear/nonlinear, and fatigue) for new product development projects
• Developing product and component designs for new product development projects.
• Managing the full lifecycle of new product projects, including:

1. Project scheduling
2. Sample production
3. Test processes and evaluation of results
4. Technical documentation and reporting

• Analyzing customer technical specifications and applicable standards, and identifying the necessary actions
• Playing an active role in monitoring and managing product launch processes for OEM and aftermarket customers
• Actively participating in APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, and PFMEA activities
• Monitoring and coordinating prototype and pre-series production processes
• Supporting R&D and continuous improvement activities
• Conducting risk assessments and managing project resources effectively
• Conducting technical meetings and correspondence with customers
