Supplier Development Supervisor

We are looking for a Supplier Development Supervisor to join our Purchasing Department. The role focuses on improving supplier performance, ensuring quality standards, reducing costs, and driving continuous improvement.

Job Description

• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on the implementation of supplier development plans.

• Lead supplier development, continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement projects.

• Coordinate supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions related to audit findings.

• Manage and monitor product requests and follow-up activities throughout the new sample process.

• Lead the analysis of supplier-related quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, ensuring the development of permanent solutions.

• Manage root cause analysis, 8D, and corrective and preventive action processes, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented actions.

• Monitor supplier returns and quality costs, and manage the necessary improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.

• Preferably experience in supplier development within the automotive industry, preferably with team management experience.

• Knowledge of automotive quality systems, supplier quality processes, and customer-specific requirements.

• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and root cause analysis methodologies.

• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Strong team management, coordination, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

• Results-oriented, proactive, and committed to a continuous improvement mindset.

• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

• Strong analytical thinking, results-oriented approach, and ability to work effectively in a team.
