Development Merchandiser

We are a textile manufacturing company specializing in women’s and men’s woven garments, and we are looking for a Development Merchandiser to join our Product Development team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Inditex brands (Zara, Massimo Dutti, Pull&Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, etc.),
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related field,
• Experience working with ERP systems,
• Good knowledge of woven fabrics, trims, washing techniques, and product development processes,
• Strong command of written and spoken English,
• Ability to work in line with brand requirements regarding collection development, quality standards, and sustainability expectations,
• Strong planning, follow-up, and coordination skills,
• Able to commute to our office located in Şişli, Istanbul.

Job Description

• Develop suitable product solutions based on customers' collection and product development requests,
• Research and propose fabrics, trims, washes, and product alternatives in line with seasonal collection requirements,
• Follow up all development samples, including Proto Samples, Fit Samples, SMS, Size Sets, PPS, and customer approval processes,
• Coordinate communication and workflow between customers and internal departments such as Pattern Room, Purchasing, Planning, and Production,
• Ensure product development activities are completed in line with customer expectations, quality standards, and target timelines.
