Senior Purchasing Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to join our growing company, one of the largest structural part suppliers of Airbus.

Tasks

• Manage Direct and Indirect Purchasing processes end-to-end in accordance with MUBEA policies and procedures,
• Execute supplier selection, evaluation, and development processes,
• Manage commercial negotiations and contract processes with suppliers while developing long-term business partnerships,
• Conduct market research to identify cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities,
• Perform cost analyses for existing and new materials used in production,
• Execute purchasing activities while ensuring quality, cost, lead time, and supply continuity targets are achieved,
• Monitor supplier performance indicators (KPIs) and coordinate improvement actions,
• Actively participate in sourcing and localization projects,
• Create purchase orders and ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures,
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance departments to ensure uninterrupted operations,
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory optimization activities,
• Review supplier invoices and resolve any discrepancies,
• Prepare, update, and maintain purchasing documentation in accordance with the Quality Management System,
• Prepare purchasing performance reports and provide regular analyses to management,
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields,
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing/production environments,
• Experience in both Direct and Indirect Purchasing processes,
• Fluent in English,
• Proficient in MS Office applications and ERP systems (preferably SAP),
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis skills,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities,
• Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills,
• Experience working in a multinational company environment,
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
