Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) HQ is the Theatre Land Component and Land Advocate responsible for coordinating and synchronizing NATO and Partner Land Forces by enabling land domain readiness, interoperability, standardization, and competency; on order deploys headquarters elements to provide planning, coordination, and command capabilities to Allied forces.
The Support Directorate is responsible for providing LANDCOM with organizational structures, personnel, logistics, communications and information systems and base support.
The Base Support Group provides LANDCOM with transportation, infrastructure maintenance, air travel support, Morale and Welfare activities, printing, supply and property control and coordinates with the Host Nation the provision of security and safety.
Qualifications
1. University Degree (Bachelor's) in occupational health and safety , engineering , environmental sciences or a related field and possessions of a valid Class A or Class B Occupational Health and Safety Specialist certification.
2.Experience in providing technical advice and subject-matter expertise on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) matters, supporting the implementation of the OHS Directive and applicable NATO or Host Nation standards.
3. Experience in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of OHS activities, including risk assessments, training programmes, emergency preparedness, and preventive measures in line with the OHS Management System.
4. Experience in conducting regular workspace inspections and contribute to the identification, analysis , and mitigation of health and safety risks.
5. Experience in participating in internal or external audit activities, maintain OHS documentation, statistics, and reports, and support the continuous monitoring and improvement of OHS performance.
6. Experience is assisting in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, contribute to lessons learned processes, and support the development and update of OHS policies, procedures, and guidance.
7. Experience in working as part of a project team or working group as directed or assigned and contributes to Lessons Learned process.

Contract and duration of employment:
Initial contract for a period of 6 months, possibility of 6 month extension (The maximum duration of a temporary employment cannot exceed three years.)
