International Business Development Manager
Position Summary
Nokta Detectors is seeking an experienced International Business Development Manager to drive global growth initiatives, identify new business opportunities, expand international distribution networks, and develop strategic partnerships across existing and emerging markets.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding Nokta's global presence by identifying new market opportunities, building long-term commercial relationships, and supporting international expansion strategies. This position focuses primarily on international business development rather than domestic sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new international business opportunities.
- Research and analyze global markets, industry trends, and competitive activities.
- Develop and execute international market entry and expansion strategies.
- Lead negotiations for new distribution agreements, partnerships, and commercial collaborations.
- Support the expansion of Nokta's global dealer and distributor network.
- Work closely with Global Sales Managers to ensure successful implementation of growth initiatives.
- Represent Nokta Detectors at international trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
- Prepare business development plans, market assessments, and growth forecasts.
- Monitor international market performance and recommend strategic actions.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and executive leadership teams to support global growth objectives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Preferred fields of study:
- Business Administration
- International Business
- Marketing
- Economics
- International Trade
- Engineering or related disciplines
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is considered an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in business development, international sales, export sales, channel development, or related commercial roles.
- Minimum 4 years of experience focused specifically on international markets.
- Proven track record of developing distributor networks and international partnerships.
- Experience working with global distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Experience in manufacturing, electronics, outdoor products, or related industries is preferred.
Language Requirements
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Additional foreign languages are considered a strong advantage.
