Finance Assistant ( 6-Months Fixed Term Contract)

We are looking for a ''Finance Assistant'' for our global business partner; operates in energy sector and locates in Bursa-Nilüfer.

Job Description :

• Manage daily accounting entries including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger incl. monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/vendors
• Export operations through BC and local invoice integrator portal.
• Supplier invoice posting and supplier payments
• Data collection and verification with audit partner.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Specific operations with local e-invoicing integrator
• Domestic invoices postings through BC
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
• Other ERP support topics
• Ad hoc support to other colleagues to ensure a smooth operation of the site in TR
• Transfer, accommodation, etc. support for visitors.
• Accurate bookkeeping in the ERP system BC.
• Payments on time for suppliers and customers (AP, AR).
• On time delivery of schedules for monthly financial reports.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in Finance Operations
• Basic hands-on exposure of working in any ERP System
• Familiar with AP & AR, bank, cash flow, expense analysis
• Proficient with MS excel, work and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English, orally and in writing (mandatory)
• A self-starter who is able to work independently in coordination
• with and support of business Leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Capacity to act both as an active team member and an independent accounting agent
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate effectively internally and externally
• Willingness to continuously learn and adopt agile ways of working
• Structured and detailoriented to ensure best practice
