We are looking for Distribution Center Manager for our facility in Turgutlu matching with below qualifications;

Qualifications

• University graduation preferably in Industrial Engineering or Logistics. 
• Must have experience minimum 5 years in warehouse management
• Must have experience in automotive supplier environment
• Fluency in English
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods
• Knowledge of relevant commercial shipping laws
• Must have ability to work independently and organize the work load
• Must be able to balance the many schedules and tasks
• Must have good communication skills

Job Description

• Ensures all daily shipments are managed effectively and any shortfalls are resolved as quickly as possible
• Provides daily re-enforcement of sites responsibility to meet customer requirements within required ship dates and deadlines
• Ensures shipping and distribution metrics are established, posted and managed
• Effectively manages site supervisors to ensure proper staffing levels and productivity data management   
• Ensures strong communications throughout the facility
• Utilizes 5S strategies to maintain effective housekeeping, proper implementation and utilization of Lean Manufacturing/GPS principles/processes and attainment to CI activities as outlined by the Business Plan
• Directs the activities of the Site HSE Coordinator in close coordination with the Corporate and Divisional HSE teams
• Must be certain that all operational systems and procedures adhere at all times to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System standards and any other established company or industry quality standards
• Ensures a data collection system is in place for external customer issues, lead teams for prompt customer support of voice, fax and email order management, ensure customer credits/debits are handled in timely fashion
• Must maintain a flexible work schedule to manage the demands of a distribution facility and unexpected customer needs
