Warehouse Manager

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager (Depo Yöneticisi)  for our Eskişehir Plant, reporting to Plant Manager.  

Main Responsibilities : 

·       Resolves operational, systemic or personnel-related problems arising in warehouse and distribution processes through root cause analysis.

·       Develops improvement and investment projects that will increase efficiency in warehouse layout and capacity planning.

·       Performs analyses to reduce inventory accuracy issues, counting discrepancies and losses, creates action plans and follows up on their implementation.

·       Contributes to the design and implementation of processes in digital transformation and automation projects (WMS, SAP integration, etc.).

·       Develops solutions to optimize transportation and logistics costs, evaluates supplier performance.

·       Analyzes customer complaints and requests to produce lasting solutions, and prepares coordinated action plans with relevant departments.

·       Identifies EHS risks in advance and plans preventive measures, checks the effectiveness of implementations through field visits.

     Other Details : 

·       Regularly analyzes, plans and manages all movements and activities (goods receiving, storage, counting, shipment) within the warehouse and distribution center.

·       Defines KPIs that reflect warehouse performance (inventory accuracy, shipment timing, losses, etc.), reports regularly and presents to senior management.

·       Conducts planning and improvement work to increase efficiency in warehouse layout, capacity utilization and workflows.

·       Ensures full implementation of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) rules in the warehouse; participates in risk assessments and conducts regular field visits.

·       Ensures coordination with sales, production, purchasing, quality and logistics departments through a customer-focused approach; ensures customer complaints and requests are resolved quickly.

·       Ensures all machinery, equipment and automation systems used in the warehouse are used in accordance with instructions and that their maintenance is followed up.

·       Supervises that all materials and products entering and leaving the warehouse are recorded accurately and on time in the system (SAP/WMS).

·       Organizes periodic counting of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse, analyzes counting discrepancies and takes necessary actions.

·       Monitors minimum stock levels of packaging and consumable materials, and manages procurement processes in coordination with relevant departments.

·       Ensures materials requested by production are prepared on time and in full, and that system records are made accurately.

·       Regularly reports to and receives information from the Plant Manager regarding daily and periodic activities in the department, and prepares necessary reports.

·       Ensures visual and numerical control of products coming out of packaging, and that daily system (SAP) confirmations are completed on time.

·       Ensures the necessary planning and coordination for domestic and international orders to be shipped on time, in full and safely.

·       Manages relationships with transportation and logistics companies, follows up on the implementation of contract terms, and evaluates supplier performance.

·       Supervises that delivery notes, export documents and other system records related to shipment and storage are kept accurately and on time.

·       Ensures that the warehouse and distribution center under their responsibility is clean and organized in line with 5S principles.

·       Ensures that all employees on the team comply with occupational safety rules, plans and delivers necessary training.

·       Carries out tasks and instructions given by the Plant Manager; takes an active role in digital transformation and other improvement projects.
