As part of our growing organization, we are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team.

Role Purpose

The main objective of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely execution of accounting operations, including vendor invoices, import-related accounting, month-end closing activities, and tax declaration processes, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording and tracking vendor e-invoices, e-archive invoices, and direct expense invoices.
• Uploading expense invoices to the invoice approval system (EBA) and monitoring the approval process.
• Tracking import declarations and related ancillary costs, and ensuring their proper accounting.
• Performing periodic GR-IR tracking and reconciliations related to import processes.
• Creating vendor accounts in the system and making necessary updates and changes.
• Monitoring expense invoice provisions as part of month-end closing processes.
• Executing GEKAP and KDV2 tax declaration processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting roles.
• Proficient in MS Office programs and Knowledge of e-Invoice and e-Archive processes
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and the Uniform Chart of Accounts.
• Hands-on experience with the SAP FI module.
• Preferably good command of English.
