Foreign Trade SpecialistImport and Export Operations

At Seçkinler Medikal A.Ş., we are looking for a Foreign Trade Specialist to manage import and export operations from end to end and build strong relationships with our international customers and suppliers as part of our foreign trade team.

English will be an essential part of daily communication in this role. The successful candidate is expected to use English at a very advanced level, fluently and professionally; handle correspondence independently; express themselves confidently in meetings; and negotiate on commercial matters. The role also involves international business travel and participation in meetings abroad.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct international customer and market research; identify new business and export opportunities

• Contact potential customers; present products, prepare quotations, and follow up on sales

• Manage written and spoken English communication with international customers and suppliers

• Hold business meetings with international customers and represent the company at international meetings

• Travel abroad for business and meet customers and business partners in person

• Track import orders from order placement through to delivery of the products to the warehouse

• Coordinate the preparation, shipment, and delivery of export orders

• Check and follow up on pro forma and commercial invoices, packing lists, transport documents, and certificates of origin and preferential trade documents

• Follow up on the preparation of documents such as A.TR, EUR.1, and Certificates of Origin, and ensure they are sent with the shipment

• Arrange transportation and coordinate with logistics companies, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams

• Ensure that the information and documents required for customs procedures are obtained accurately and on time

• Track delays and missing documents in shipment, delivery, and customs processes, and work with the relevant parties to resolve them

• Maintain accurate records of products, orders, prices, and shipments; prepare reports as required

• Coordinate the collection of information and documents required for product processes from the relevant parties

Qualifications

• Very advanced English proficiency, preferably at C1–C2 level

• Ability to handle English correspondence, meetings, and commercial discussions fluently and professionally

• Availability to travel abroad for business

• Degree in Foreign Trade, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field

• Experience in import and export operations, foreign trade documentation, and shipment processes

• Knowledge of customs and logistics processes

• Effective use of MS Office programs, especially Excel

• Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills; careful attention to document checking

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple orders and processes at the same time

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; solution-oriented and responsible

• Experience in the medical device or healthcare sector is an advantage

English proficiency will be assessed specifically during the interview process.
